These are words we learnt for our inquiry about Kiwiana.

Our collaborative Story

Five years ago when  I was in kindy with my best friends Kymani and Hendrix I told them that we were going to the Auckland Zoo.

The next day we were lining up to go into the bus we were singing songs

Then we arrived at the Zoo.

Our teacher signed us in and we SPRINTED to the animals. We were so excited looking at the lions, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, elephants and monkeys. We were walking past the monkeys I saw a one armed monkey. We were throwing bananas down to the monkey and then we went back into the bus and went back to kindy

I wrote this story with Kymani.

I found it hard because I couldn't spell the right words. 

Replying to blog comments

Today I learnt how to reply to blog comments
One important thing is that I got to see people commenting and replying to each other
One non important thing is that we did not get to comment and reply each other.

Being The Teacher For A Day

When I got to Red Hill School I Walked into my room and

Started to work. I heard children talking and playing. The bell rang and everyone was running to the class. I walked into the room and their teacher introduced me to all the children. Some children came to me for work, I gave them

a work sheet and they quietly started to work, I quietly started to work as well. It was almost time to go home so I brought everyone into the other room. They all sat down and did Karakia as one hub, and when the bell rang they all quickly ran out.

It had been exciting, but only to soon it was time to go home.

As I was relaxing with a book in my favourite chair reading I thought how cool it was to be a teacher.

Quality blog post

This post shows what I learnt about the quality blog post. 

One important thing is I got to learn heaps of different things like blogging.

I enjoyed it because there was interesting blog posts.

Digital dig

In the Digital dig I learnt how to snapshot a photo. this is for when you want to take a snapshot and put it on your screen

I also learnt learnt keyboard shortcut 

what I enjoyed is the chrome tab and profile picture.

Caring for my chromebook

I learnt how to look after my Chromebook. One way is typing gently and holding it with two hands. I put this information in a google drawing. It was fun because it had a lot of steps in it and I can use the steps for new learning on Chromebooks.
